Why we built Joinza
The tools people use today weren't built for this. Meetup and Eventbrite are made for big public events with open RSVPs. Facebook groups and WhatsApp threads have no way to know whether the stranger offering to fill your slot will actually show up. So organisers scramble, tickets expire, and games get cancelled.
Joinza reframes "things to do" as open slots to fill: small, time-boxed opportunities that need one to three specific people, vetted through an interest-and-selection workflow rather than open RSVP.

Trust is the product. Every member builds an Opportunity Passport™ — attendance rate, two-way reviews, verification badge — surfaced exactly where hosts make their decision. Payments sit in escrow until an event actually starts. No-shows are tracked, visibly.

We're built for New Zealand and Australia from day one: NZD and AUD pricing, local privacy law compliance (NZ Privacy Act 2020, Australian Privacy Act), and a launch strategy that starts hyper-local — dense suburbs, weekend sport, gig tickets — before going wide.
