Meeting strangers, minus the stranger danger
Joinza exists to make real-world plans with people you haven't met yet feel safe — for hosts and joiners alike. Here's how.
Verification
Members can verify with photo ID plus a selfie liveness check, earning the badge shown on their profile and every application. Higher-risk categories (road trips, one-on-one meetups) will require verification as we roll out.
Reputation you can act on
Attendance counts, no-show percentages, and two-way blind reviews are surfaced at the exact moment a host decides who joins — not buried in a sub-page. Reliability is the currency of the platform.
Reporting & response
Report or block anyone from their profile or an opportunity, tagged by category: no-show, harassment, scam, or unsafe behaviour. Safety-tagged reports are reviewed by a human within 4 hours. AI moderation also screens listings and chat for policy violations before they reach you.
Money protection
Never pay a host directly. Escrow means funds are held by Joinza until the event actually starts, refund templates are enforced automatically, and host cancellations refund in full — which removes the main scam vector for ticket resale.
Meeting safely — our advice
Meet in public places for first-time joins. Share your plan with a friend. Keep chat on-platform where our moderation can see it. Trust the reliability numbers — they exist so you don't have to guess. If something feels off, leave and report; we act on it.
